Marian Anderson

Marian Anderson was born in February 27, 1897. She was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She was also the oldest out of four. Her mother had been a schoolteacher and her father was out late selling coal and ice to keep the family under a roof. But when her father had an accident they didn’t have enough money to pay the rent. So they had to move in with their grandparents. but everytime they had a chance they would go to the circus and come back late at night talking about how their day went. since Marians dream was to sing, but unfortunately  her mother could not afford vocal lessons. then after seeing a lady practice her piano with no one teaching her Marian learned that you dont need someone there to tell you how to do it.

When she was six she joined the junior choir. Then the adults thought that she sang so good that they invited her to the adult choir at the same time. The church loved her singing so bad that they wanted her to sing in front of a bigger crowd. Then that took her to an even higher level. After that she ended up singing in New York. But unfortunately nobody liked her beautiful singing. She still didn't give up her dream of being a singer. So she tried again and this time it was a success.
Fortunatly she was also a determined person that wouldnt give up even if she knew that her singing was terrible. That is what people should do when they have their own goals. After hearing her sing a music producer told her to give him one year and see him work his magic. Then she noticed that she liked him and then started dating him. He also helped her with her family.
